No internet access in Khanozai

Rehan Khan Panezai

Khanozai is a tehsil of district Pishin, Balochistan, and internet has been blocked here for two years. Every spring and summer, the admissions of various universities of Pakistan remain out of reach to the students of Khanozai as their registration is done online.  The students have no access to internet so cannot register. Although Khanozai town remained among the relatively more literate towns of Balochistan and in 1996 statistics showed it had high literacy ratio girls included , unfortunately now the students here are finding their path to higher education strewn with obstacles.
